Welcome to Day 3 of SYK Mother’s Day Event!!!  

Here at The Tx Lit Chic we have compiled all the SYK events we’ve found for the weekend into one convenient place for you to view these books and choose the ones you want.

As we come to the end of our first Mother’s Day Event, I would like to thank everyone who has stopped by, the originating sites who held all the events that we combined into one and most importantly, the authors who made their books available for this weekends event.

And to the moms, thank you for being your amazing selves. I hope you are celebrated today as you deserve. I hope your day is filled with love and relaxation while surrounded by those you love. To the moms who have passed on, thank you for your love and caring. If, like me, you celebrate Mother’s Day today with fond memories of days gone by of your mom, I send you gentle hugs and lots of love.

I created this short video for just a FEW of the moms I love and admire. The first two pics are of my mama; then we have my husband, Rob, my MIL, Debbie and me; my sister, Chandra, me and dad; my daughter, Caitlin, DIL, Charolette, son, Dylan and me; my best friend of over 40 year, Julie and me; and then the last two are my favorite because the first is of me, my first grandchild, Tyler and my niece Nicole, while the second is of my niece, Nicole and her daughter, Hallie. What got me was in the first picture with my niece she was 7th/8th grade timeline and Tyler was the first diaper she ever changed. She has gone on to become a pediatric nurse and now a mom of my precious 4 week old great niece. But the giggling comes in at this part, Tyler is now right at the same age Nicole was in the first pic – he was just shy of 8 weeks though – and her daughter is 4 weeks. How time flies!!
