My first read of the year. A quick-read, less than ten minutes. Was great when I took a break from assembling a cart to transfer books from 2025 reads so I have the shelf next to my chair open for the 2026 books to come.
Sitting down now to write of the review for the last read of 2025 to post this afternoon. Then I am off to write for the rest of the day. Happy New Year to you all!!
Sasquatch Falls
This one caught me off guard. First, I wasn’t expecting such a short, quick read. Second… let’s just say it doesn’t go where you think it will.
Sasquatch. The legend. The creature that’s never truly found. Campers head into Sasquatch Falls, Washington, and some don’t come back… at least not in one piece. Guess who gets the blame. Mmmmhhhhmmm…Your boy Sasquatch.
Marie delivers a fast, no-frills story that skips deep character building, which works perfectly for a short read like this. What it lacks in length, it makes up for in tension. The psychological thriller and horror elements hit hard, and the gory details are vivid enough to pull you in without dragging things out.
If you’re looking for a quick, entertaining read for a work break or a short breather at home, Sasquatch Falls is a solid pick. It’s available on Amazon and on Kindle Unlimited.
