With knowledge passed down from her grandmother, Emmy along with her friend Moncerrat are the next in line of generational witches. The girls know their help will be needed to stop the evil forces threatening to break through.

As the body count rises, the enemy remains unseen, and time runs short. Sheriff Campbell must work alongside the girls to confront a malevolent force that threatens to consume all of Eastland County. But will it be enough?

Crossroads delivers more than just chills and suspense. Its characters are grounded, real, and familiar – you don’t just read their story, you live it. With a fast-paced narrative, multiple POVs, and expertly woven timelines, the tension builds chapter by chapter, keeping you breathless until the very end.

Mark A. Daniel crafts a paranormal thriller that is both haunting and immersive. Ghosts, generational magic, and a battle between good and ancient evil – this is a story that grips you and refuses to let go.

While Crossroads can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the three prior novels in the Black Mass series.
