Happy June Everyone!!! It’s My Birthday Month – yes, MONTH!!! I don’t celebrate JUST on the 6th, my actual day, I celebrate ALL month long! I hope you will join me and celebrate along with me!!!
I created a new cartoon me – she didn’t turn out too bad, they even partially got my tattoo correct!!! With it being my birthday month, I have linked my Amazon wishlist to her for family and friends (had to spell that out so they know to click on her).

May was a SSSLLLOOOOOOWWWWW month for me. I didn’t read as much as I would have liked meaning not nearly as many reviews as I would have liked. I spent May hanging with my husband, visiting family and helping him adjust to his reality – retired life. Sounds rough right? For a man who has been used to working, he is finding it a challenge and already talking about finding a part-time job just to have something to do. Of course, my honey-do list is plenty long enough to keep him busy for a while but I am betting he is back to work before it get’s relatively close to being done LOL.
I was hoping to do some giveaways this month to celebrate my birthday but alas, I have failed at getting things set up for that. Because of my slacking off in May, June is swamped so far with reads. It’s not really from slacking, I was steady with my reading but you know as well as I do you can go weeks with nothing coming to your inbox then next thing you know your inbox is overflowing with ARC’s! But that just means June should be flowing with reviews!
Today I am posting a revised review of an older read – this review definitely needed a revision to do the book more justice. I mostly post psychological thriller reviews as that is my FAVORITE genre to read but I also enjoy Cozy Mystery’s as well as Paranormal stories. This is one of the Paranormal books I read at the beginning of the year as an ARC and I thoroughly enjoyed it, adding the author to my TBR so I could move to the next book but I haven’t made it to reading that book yet.

The Lost Fae: Guardians of the Four Realm – Book 1
~Caroline Delaney Drew Read January 21, 2025 – January 24, 2025
Imagine a world teeming with fae, vampires, sirens, witches, and Greek Gods. That’s the electrifying premise of The Lost Fae: Guardians of the Four Realms Book 1. If you love a rich fantasy world, this book promises an irresistible blend of supernatural beings and ancient powers.
Zara’s (FMC) motto? Men suck. Seth’s (MMC) goal? To find his fated love, as promised by the gods. So, what happens when Seth, Guardian of the mortal realm, walks into a bar and hears Zara’s voice? An immediate connection resulting in both their worlds to shift. He’s a fiercely protective alpha male, determined to win and keep the woman who has captured his heart.
Journey through secret worlds and magical discoveries. Where deceptions unravel, hearts are both healed and broken, and friendships are pushed to their limits. Will the Guardian secure the love of a mortal, or is he destined to protect the mortal realm in solitude?
The Lost Fae is a captivating, layered world of characters you will quickly fall for. The storyline flows beautifully, with smooth pacing and seamlessly transitioning between chapters. With intricate world-building that will keep you enthralled and deeply invested in the characters. Zara is a strong, witty female lead, perfectly complemented by Seth’s equally powerful presence. Even the supporting characters have robust backstories, enriching the overall narrative. A quick heads-up: this is an 18+ book with some adult scenes. For those who prefer story over explicit content, I found it easy to navigate, and the plot is too good to miss.
Drew’s writing style is truly immersive, drawing you in from the very first page and keeping you hooked until the end. Vivid imagery enhances the overall impact of the book making this a definite read for all Paranormal genre fans. I devoured this book and cannot wait to pick up the second book to read.
I would like to thank Caroline Delaney Drew for allowing me the opportunity to ARC read this book. As always, all opinions and reviews are of my own volition. I have not been promised any compensation by the author, present or future, for my review.
